55. Capitalist Workers vs. Statist Workers

Capitalism encourages:

Capitalist-oriented workers, businessmen, and entrepreneurs who compete openly and honestly. Business men and women of courage, merit, skill, competence, integrity, and who recognize, respect, and defend individual rights, including property rights, and derivative freedoms, including completely unregulated economic freedom.

It is my opinion that, as a social-political-economic system, Capitalism overall encourages, promotes, and awards ACCOUNTABILITY in all social interactions and relationships, individual and/or business – from private to governmental in nature.

Statism encourages:

Statist-oriented workers, crony businessmen, corrupt unions, and government-favored entrepreneurs who use the influence, manipulation, and intervention of the state (government or ruling group) to compete underhandedly and dishonestly. Statism encourages business men and women who are cowards, scoundrels, moochers and looters (Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand), and who do not recognize or defend, and openly violate and infringe upon individual rights, including property rights, derivative freedoms, and economic freedoms – using government force, decree, and permission to do so.

It is my opinion that, as a social-political-economic system, Statism generally discourages, shuns, and even punishes ACCOUNTABILITY in all social interactions and relationships, individual and/or business – from private to governmental in nature.
