52. Import and Export Trading

These are my comments regarding free-market Import and Export Trading under Capitalism and Freedom versus my comments regarding controlled Import and Export Trading under Statism.

Capitalism represents unrestricted, unregulated free-market Import and Export trading.

Under Capitalism and Freedom, there is no state (government) intervention, interference, restriction, regulation, or control of domestic and/or international trade, what-so-ever. Free, open, unrestricted, unregulated import and export trading, both domestic and international, by individuals and businessmen who act through their own rational self-interest and profit motive, ultimately succeeds in advancing the well-being of all people and businesses worldwide.

Statism represents State (government or ruling group) restricted, regulated, and controlled Import and Export trading.

Under Statism and Force, there is State (government or ruling group) intervention, interference, restriction, regulation, and control of domestic and/or international trade, from partially or totally. State (government or ruling group) restricted, regulated, and controlled import and export trading, both domestic and international – while encouraging “crony capitalism” – ultimately ends up destroying the well-being, and the wealth, of people and businesses worldwide, including those engaged in maintaining Statism.
