32. Property Rights Under Capitalism vs. Statism

Capitalism represents the recognition, preservation, defense, and protection of property rights, for individuals, private groups, and businesses – and the owner’s freedom to use their property as they best see fit to do so, while at the same time not infringing upon or violating individual and economic freedom, the individual rights, and the property rights of others. All property is privately owned under Capitalism.

VERSUS –

Statism represents state (government or ruling group) infringement and violation of property rights, and the regulation and control of, and the use of, most or all property. Statism encourages the establishment of “public” property, “public” lands, “public” roads, “public” parks, etc. – but discourages the recognition, preservation, defense, and protection of private property.
